Chanel Market

Tuesday, during Paris Fashion Week, the Upper East Side met the West Village for an eclectic marriage of couture & street chic during the A/W 2014 Chanel Ready-To-Wear show.  The show was absolutely breathtaking and beyond inspiring. Karl Lagerfield managed to make the mundane task of grocery shopping an epic experience. Models clad in Chanel suits, bags and baubles hit the grocery store themed runway for what I think may just be the best fashion show of all time. Check out the video show and some of my faves below! Be prepared to be blown away!

La Dolce Vita w/ Kate Spade

Buongiorno! The new SS14 collection from Kate Spade has launched and I couldn't be more thrilled. By far this collection for me has been one of the most anticipated since I saw the images back in September. Inspired by the Italian island of Capri, the collection boasts vibrant hues and quaint lemon themed accessories that remind me of my visit to Capri. Check out some of my faves from the collection. If you can't visit Capri, at least you can dress like you're there!

***Fashion Flash*** Phillip Lim 3.1 for Target

Just in case you weren't up stalking www.target.com with the rest of us psychos this morning, be sure to pop into you local Target store to snap up the latest designer collab. Phillip Lim 3.1 launched today around 3:00 am online and will launch in stores beginning at 8:00 am. This designer collaboration has been highly anticipated, much like the Missoni for Target collection. Although the Neiman Marcus collab was a flop, this definitely won't be.

I highly encourage you to get to your Target stores early or shop in the suburbs because this collection will sell out. It took constant refreshing and Twitter stalking for me to score the pieces I wanted. For my curvies, there aren't any plus size pieces in the collection, but fashion blogger Chastity Valentine of Garner Style Blog has put together this post of what she thinks will work well on plus sizes. I wasn't particularly moved by the clothes in this group, but both the men's & women's accessories are everything! Happy Shopping!

Two-Way Tuesday

Two-Way Tuesdays are BACK!! I know they it's been a while, but I wanted to share a look with you guys. I am 100% in love with comfy chic and am a firm believer that the right accessories can transform any look. Recently I scored this great burgundy & white striped t-shirt dress from Boutique Stiletto in Conyers, Ga. Like I said, I love being comfy, and there's nothing better than being able to wear a dress that feels like a night gown. So, today I decided to show you guys how to take this basic cotton dress and make it go from work to play!

The other day for work, I paired the dress with my denim blazer from Talbots, Tom Ford sunglasses, suede pumps from Off 5th (Saks Fifth Avenue Outlet) and a cigar box from WiseAsh Cigars that has been re- purposed to be a clutch. I turned this basic, casual dress into something that was office ready.

Now for the switch... After work, I decided to do a little holiday shopping, so obviously, heels were out. I decided to throw on my #stylesteal jean jacket from Wal-Mart, chestnut Ugg boots, and grabbed my Forever 21 shopping tote! Again, just by switching up the accessories, I turned my work look into the perfect sassy shopping ensemble!

So, the next time you think you can't be comfy & chic, just remember to accessorize!
