Friday 5-Way w/ SWAK Designs

Happy Friday! I am so ready for the weekend. The weather has been such a roller coaster here in Georgia, that you really don't know how to dress. It was snowing last week and 74 degrees yesterday. Even though it's not spring, I decided to take advantage of the weather and give you a little spring inspiration with a Friday 5-Way.

Last week, my friends over at SWAK Designs sent me over a new Pretty cami in a fabulous spring color called Sweet Lemon. You guys already know that I have an unhealthy fixation with the Pretty cami and can't get enough of them. It truly is one of the most versatile tops I own and I at least wear one twice a week. For today's post, I am going to give you a work ready look, a SaturDate look, a couple of looks with jeans and an intimate look. With that being said, let's get started.

Ready for Work:

Because it was unseasonably warm yesterday, I paired my new Pretty cami with last year's Old Navy striped bodycon skirt and my fave Eloquii green jacket. To give the flowy top a little structure, I added a skinny black belt from Lane Bryant and finished things off with my Just Fab Luxe Fairfield pumps. This look is also one that you can wear out for a play look by removing the jacket and amping up your hair and makeup.

SaturDate:

There's nothing I love more than a flirty skirt for a day date. It's such an easy,  effortless look that is put together without doing too much. I paired my Pretty cami with a Duro Olowu for JCP skirt that I scored last year, my #stylesteal Wal-Mart denim jacket, K-Mart sandals and again created a more structured look by belting the cami with another Lane Bryant belt. To round out the look, I added a tote from Henri Bendel and a Banana Republic statement necklace. Whether you're going to the museum with your guy or grabbing a quick lunch with the girls, this look is super chic!

Coachella Chic:

Although I won't be able to make it to Coachella this year, that doesn't mean I can't rock a festival ready ensemble. For this look, I paired my Pretty cami with rolled up SWAK jeans. I decided to let the top flow free for an easy, breezy effect.  To keep with the So-Cal vibe, I added my Phillip Lim for Target "BOOM" scarf and my red TOMS.

Lasting Layers:

I know you're probably thinking you can't layer with the Pretty cami because it has so much volume, but you couldn't be more wrong. As you already know, I have a little problem area that I like to call LHF (low hanging fat). Because of this LHF, I usually stay away from super fitted tops if I am wearing pants or jeans. For this look, I used my Pretty cami to layer under my #SELFIE sweater from Target. It created almost a peplum effect and perfectly covered my LHF in my SWAK jeans. I decided to roll the cuff a little lower and added my polka-dot TOMS to finish up the look. This look would be great for running errands but is still put together enough that you could still have a casual meeting with a client.

Pretty Intimate:

I'm a little nervous about this last segment. My love for the Pretty cami knows no bounds. I literally take it from day to play, in every since of the word. Because the Pretty cami is so universally flattering, it makes an amazing lingerie item. If your "girls" aren't quite as perky as they need to be, the Pretty's billowy folds keep that little secret under wraps. If wearing as a lingerie item, I like to order a size up in the cami, so you can create a dramatic back dip that's super sexy and will drive your guy insane!

So, there you have it! One SWAK Pretty cami, styled 5 different ways. Which one is your favorite look? If you don't own one, head on over to www.swakdesigns.com. The Pretty cami is popular and they sell out super fast. I recommend grabbing a couple of basic colors like black and white and for sure my amazing Sweet Lemon and Bright Coral from the spring collection. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Until next time, Find your SWAK Style and I'll see you on the front row!

xoxo-

<3 Parker S.
