Happy Thursday! I am so glad it's almost the weekend. The weather here in Atlanta has been a dream the past few weeks. For the first time in a long time we have actually had fall weather. Because I put myself on shopping restriction last month, I have been recycling my current wardrobe. I have been dying to wear one of my Yeama by Mamasoe custom skirts again that I wore earlier this summer, but the problem is that it's not the most traditional "Fall" look.
As you already know one of my mantra's is "Fashion Without Boundaries" and I love a challenge, so yesterday I decided to create a couple of different looks with my skirt. I first wore this look to an event in Chicago. I styled it with a neon yellow #TargetStyle tank, orange JCP jacket and silver Shoe Mint Pumps. The look was whimsical and fun. I felt like a modern day Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz.
Yesterday for work, I decided to take my #PatternPlay to another level. I have been chomping at the bits to wear my new Cole Haan oxfords, so I decided to pair my skirt with my orange, silk JCP blouse and argyle JCP cardigan. I usually don't like to be too matchy-matchy, but to pull the extreme #PatternPlay together, I paired my oxfords with a pair of argyle socks that had a similar pattern to my sweater. I have to give a shout out to my buddy Rev. Richard Flippin who is my current oxford/sock muse. His footwear game is totally sick!
After work, I switched up my look for the Remy Martin Heart of Cognac event at the Biltmore Hotel. I totally nixed my preppy look that I wore to work and added a different color pop. I added a funky ASOS button back shirt, with my vintage green Eloquii jacket, Banana Republic statement necklace and my brand new Luxe by Just Fab green pumps!

So, what do you think? One skirt 3 totally different looks. This skirt really is one of my favorite pieces. I hope the inspires you guys to push the envelope and shake things up a bit. Fashion is fun and you should definitely explore all of the possibilities. Until next time...
See you on the front row-
